Eurovision Opening Day on May 9th

Eurovision Moscow 2009 - Eurovision Song Contest 2009The opening ceremony of the Eurovision Song Contest will be held May 9, the national Victory Day holiday, while the final will be held May 16, Mayor Yury Luzhkov said in a decree published Thursday on the City Hall web site.

It will be the first time that Russia hosts Europe's most prestigious pop contest, thanks to Russian singer Dima Bilan's victory with his song "Believe" at this year's event in Belgrade, Serbia.

Melodifestivalen 2009 - Eurovision Sweden 2009STV, the Swedish broadcaster, announced earlier this afternoon the second wildcard for Melodifestivalen 2009.

Malena Ernman is the second wildcard and she will participate with the song 'La voix'.

Melodifestivalen 2009 - Eurovision Sweden 2009Seven more entries for the Melodifestivalen 2009, the Swedish selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2009, were revealed earlier today.

STV, the Swedish broadcaster, announces gradually the participants and the wildcards until reaching 28 in total.

This innovative way of songs’ selection was introduced by Spain last year, and it seems that it worked. This time MySpace returns, but the procedure will be slightly changed.

Bzikibi are aparted from Giorgi and two girls both called Mariam! All of them are 10 years old and very cute!
